AvCount3 Particle Counter for Skydrol – SA1105-0

The AvCount3 for Skydrol is a compact bench-top automatic particle counter, specifically designed to measure the particulate of Skydrol hydraulic fluid.

Skydrol is an advanced fire-resistant aviation hydraulic fluid that inhibits corrosion and prevents erosion damage to servo valves. It has been approved by most airframe manufacturers, including Airbus, Boeing, and BAE Systems, and has been used in their products for over 40 years.

Due to the highly corrosive nature of Skydrol material, this special version of the AvCount3 is fitted with Isolast seals and a protective inner case.

Featuring a simple user interface with a touchscreen display, the fully-automated test means extensive operator training is not required before using the instrument. The simplicity of test setup and automation gives operators the time to work on something else, helping to reduce labor costs.

The AvCount3’s enhanced functionality includes a dilution protocol for testing of high viscosity samples, real-time display of test progress, 14 embedded test methods, user and sample identification, and password-protected levels. Statistical Quality Control software allows analysis of results in accordance with ASTM D6299. Supplied with: sample bottles, sample probe, waste pipe, universal voltage power supply, USB cable, calibration certificate, and instruction manual.
