Seta-Shell Four Ball Lubricant Tester – 19800-7

The Seta-Shell Four Ball Lubricant Tester (manual load) determines friction and wear properties of extreme pressure oils and greases. Used in tribology research laboratories and in the routine quality control of finished lubrication products.

The digital speed controller has four programmable presets, three are pre-programmed to the most commonly used speeds; 1200, 1475 and 1760 rpm. The duration of the test can be controlled by the digital timer, which has four ranges and spans 0.1 seconds to 9999 hours. If the balls weld during a test, the power to the drive motor is automatically turned off, via a torque-sensing mechanism.
