The VariRef Refractometer provides precise measurements throughout the product life cycle. Instrument maintenance can be done quickly and economically with a multi-point calibration that covers the entire measurement range. The new double isolated Peltier system and precision thermometer allow for fast, precise temperature control while reducing the influence of ambient temperature.
The sample room’s flat design is easy to clean and a variety of sample room covers are available for measuring liquid, solid, hard to clean, or hazardous materials.

SCHMIDT + HAENSCH refractometers can be used for purity investigations, sample recognition, dilution control, or composition. They are also used for the characterization of substances or for the determination of substance composition, especially of organic liquids or raw materials. Refractometers are widely used in food, oil, fuel, and other industries to measure and monitor the concentration of components throughout the fabrication process.
