The software enables you to control your polarimeters, refractometers, and density meters from anywhere. This tube allows for flow-through measurements of aggressive chemicals with a small sample volume. All VariPol tubes are equipped with a temperature sensor and connection cable to the measuring instrument.

Calibration for Polarimeters
Quartz control plates are used as measuring standards, to test and calibrate polarimeters.
The surface of the thin quartz plates are polished with highest precision. For reasons of mechanical stability, plates with a low angle of rotation (between -24 °Z and +24 °Z) are produced as double quartz plates (combination of a dextro and a levorotatory plate).
For each SCHMIDT + HAENSCH quartz control plate a factory certificate is supplied, indicating the absolute angle of rotation in degrees (°) and wavelength, i.e. 405, 546, 587, 589.3, 589.44, 633 and 882 nm.
The angle of rotation of the quartz plate is directly correlated to its thickness and will be indicated at a temperature of 20 °C for the wavelength 589 nm.

Stainless steel tube for single measurements
This tube allows for simple single measurements and bubble free filling. It has a one-sided widened bubble trap that guarantees fast and bubble free filling. All VariPol tubes are equipped with a temperature sensor and connection cable to the measuring instrument.
Peristaltic pump for automated filling
Different pump heads can be used with the SCHMIDT + HAENSCH Vari peristaltic pump, resulting in flexibility in your day-to-day usage and enabling multiple tubing sizes. Depending on the tubing material in use, this pump type can be used for various chemicals, corrosive and aggressive, as well as sterile solutions.
The user-friendly membrane keyboard enables the user to regulate the flow speed (RPM) using the switch arrays.
Furthermore the user can activate a “quick flow mode” by pressing the special button on the membrane keyboard.
Via external adapters for other signals, steering the pump externally is also possible. Additionally, a foot switch can be attached to the pump to enable the pumping function as long as the foot switch is activated.

Ordering a display is required for all VariFamily instruments. You can choose between a portable tablet version or detachable 7 inch touch display.
Both control devices fit onto all VariFamily products such as VariRef, VariPol, and VariDens.
All control devices operate with the Schmidt + Haensch Aquisys App which allows you to monitor, control, and store your measured data from anywhere, mobile or desktop Google Chrome version .
