Aromatics Certified Reference Material (CRM) intended to be used for verification of measuring equipment, method validation, method verification, or other quality control processes applicable for the test method ISO 22854, ASTM D 1319, ASTM D 6839, ISO 3837, IP 156 for the determination of Aromatics in finished gasoline by Gas Chromatography (GC).
To reduce the ozone reactivity in toxicity of automotive evaporative and exhaust emissions, regulations limiting the concentration of benzene and the total aromatic content of finished gasoline have been established.
ARO’s Aromatics Certified Reference Material have been characterised in accordance with ISO 22854, or equivalent test method.
