ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 Refractive Index Certified Reference Materials (CRM) and Standards intended to be used for verification of measuring equipment, method validation, method verification, or other quality control processes used to determine urea content by refractive index in accordance with ISO 22241.

Each Refractive Index CRM provides traceability of measurement to recognised national standards, and to units of measurement realised at the National Physics Laboratory (NPL) or other recognised National Metrology Institutes (NMIs). All refractive index values are traceable and each CRM provides low levels of uncertainty, ensuring maximum accuracy of data at hand.

All materials are supplied with certified data for refractive index at 20 °C with full traceability and uncertainties are stated on the certificate provided.

ISO 22241 expects ongoing verification of refractometer performance at the working RI value. The Certified Reference Material must supplied with ISO 17034 accreditation. RI-UREAKIT010 or RI-UREAKIT020 are suitable for weekly checks to confirm refractometer performance.

ARO’s Refractive Index Standards are packaged in tamper-evident glass bottles to ensure the CRM maintains contaminant-free and of high quality. ARO also offers kits for each refractive index CRM, providing easy and efficient procurement solutions for end-users.
