Auramarine and Lazar Scientific, Inc. join forces in the US to further develop market opportunities for the Porla Fuel Analyser, the fuel stability and compatibility analyser for heavy fuel oil and crude oils, based on ASTM D7112.
Auramarine Ltd., the leading fuel supply systems pioneer for marine and other industries and Lazar Scientific, Inc., a leading supplier of laboratory instrumentation in the US, have agreed to collaborate in the sales and marketing of the Porla Fuel Analyser in US market.
Maintaining the stability and compatibility of crude oils is essential to avoid problems such as the aggregation of asphaltenes, which can obstruct processing equipment. Additionally, precise measurements enable refineries to mix different crude oils efficiently, ensuring the blends remain stable. In case of marine fuel blends, proper analysis helps in adhering to environmental regulations and standards. By measuring asphaltene stability and compatibility, companies can mitigate potential hazards and ensure safer handling of crude oil.
The Porla Fuel Analyser is an easy, reliable and fast analyzer that improves profitability of refinery processes by enabling refineries to select more economic mixtures of crude oils with no risk of fouling problems. The Porla Fuel Analyser enables prediction of compatible blending ratios between different crude oils by measuring their blending compatibility parameters. Unlike other comparable analyzers, the Porla Fuel Analyser is capable of measuring stability and compatibility parameters of crude oils that have a very low asphaltene content down to 0.05 % and complies fully with ASTM D7112.
Auramarine Ltd. is a Finnish based technology company and a global manufacturer of Porla Fuel Analysers. Lazar Scientific is a US based company specialising in the sales and support of laboratory instrumentation. In this co-operation, Lazar Scientifics is now the US distributor for Auramarine’s Porla Fuel Analyser working cooperatively with Auramarine’s sales and marketing team.
